I paint with glass adding whatever feels right until it feels finished

has a matte surface which removes the typical glossy glass finish

Look closely and you see the colors within the color

but it often times needs a little extra something before I can stop

Vapor Trails Vase Blown Glass There is some planning thatThis vase was a test for the various Ivory color variations on a Dark Ivory background. The colors interact at their edges and within themselves, creating a lattice pattern. Silver fuming brings out the reactive nature of Dark Ivory. A red accent at the top completes a pleasing composition.
