TiAlN (Titanium Aluminium Nitride) coating provides higher temperature resistance and improved surface hardness. Optimised for machining stainless steel Spiral point, straight flute with angular cutting faces at the lead. Primarily design for tapping through holes but can be used for blind holes provided there is ample clearance beyond the threaded section to accommodate the swarf.
