18th Century Grim Reaper Stuart Crystal Slider without stones The main body comprises threeDATE: Early 18th Century, c. 1717 A remarkable early 18th century Stuart Crystal slider featuring a skeletal personification of death complete with scythe and hourglass. The grim reaper is modelled in minute pieces of gold under an oval faceted rock crystal, and set over a lock of blonde hair with fine gold wire creating a horizon line behind the figure. A double dedication to the back of the slider reads: "WC obt 24th Dec 1714, MC obt 6 Mar 1717",
