They're crafted in 9 karat gold, with an angled bezel around each of the collet set stones. Aquamarine is named after seawater (the Latin 'aqua' and 'marine'), on account of it's dreamy pale blue (sometimes sightly greeny) hue. Like emerald, it is a member of the beryl family of gemstones, and has been prized, since ancient times, by sailors and seafarers who
