Description
Winemaker Thierry Germain moved to Saumur Champigny from Bordeaux in the '90s
true expression of the Japanese cellar masters’ blending know-how
This lovely wine from Northern Italy is a undisclosed blend of Grignolino
typical of Valpolicella Classica which blend with the notes of white pepper and silky tannins typical of the Valpantena
if you bought an extra few bottles and set them down-Cellar
Sylvie Esmonin Gevrey-Chambertin, 2022 toscana Winemaker Thierry Germain moved toThis is made from 45 year old Pinot Noir vines from the lieu dit Les Crais. It is classic old school Burgundy, being quite rich and extracted with vibrant dark fruit aromatics. It is full and supple with mouthwatering fruit and super soft tannins. Unfined and unfiltered. We would pair this with beef bourguignon, or another rich, meaty stew to tackle the fullness of the wine.
