Georgian Amethyst Paste & Pearl Trilogy Brooch steel Chester 1900DATE: Georgian, c. 1830 A beautiful Georgian trilogy brooch set with three amethyst pastes central cushion cut flanked by two pears pointing away and a seed pearl border. The paste gemstones rest in cut down "pie crust" settings and display a particularly attractive and vibrant purple hue akin to Siberian amethysts.
