1940's Silver Camel Ring by Moshe Oved paris - no evidence of heatDATE: Mid Century, c. 1940 Moshe Oved (1885 1958) was born into a Jewish family in Poland in 1885. In 1903 he moved to England and settled in London, where he initially worked as a watchmaker. He then established his jewellery shop, Cameo Corner and began designing his animal rings during the bombing raids of London. Whilst sheltering in the basement of his shop, he started making animal rings he started out with a lambs, then eventually designed
