Dracaena marginata - cane (Madagascar Dragon Tree) Foraging open slopes at low toDracaenas are tropical trees that can become long lived specimen houseplants with proper care. Keep your Dracaena in a warm, humid environment (misting the leaves, or using a pebble tray can increase humidity). Dracaenas often have striking leaf color and variegation, so bright, indirect light is best for keeping those colors as vivid as possible. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, however, so keep your dracaena in filtered or indirect sunlight.
